Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Smart Sprout Learning services. By using our services you agree to these terms. We recommend these Terms are reviewed by a UK solicitor before full commercial use.
1. About Us
Smart Sprout Learning ("we", "us", "our") is an online educational services provider operating from the United Kingdom. Our website is www.smartsproutlearning.com. Contact: info@smartsproutlearning.com.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to UK residents only. You must be aged 18 or over (or have parental/guardian consent) to purchase any service or product. By registering you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Tuition Services
Sessions are 30 minutes in duration, delivered live via Google Meet.
The current fee is £15 per session for English or Maths tuition.
Sessions must be booked in advance via our online booking system.
You will receive a confirmation email with your Google Meet link upon booking.
Tuition is provided for KS1 and KS2 learners (Reception to Year 6).
4. Digital Products
The Phonics Ebook (£7.99) is a PDF download for personal, non-commercial use only.
The Interactive Flipbook (£9.99) is provided for personal use on any personal device.
Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.
You may not redistribute, resell or share digital products without our written permission.
5. Reader Club Membership
The Reader Club is available at £4.99 per month or £39.99 per year.
A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers. Payment is taken after the trial period.
Membership auto-renews unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Access to the library is for personal, household use only.
We reserve the right to update, add or remove titles from the library at any time.
6. Payments
All payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. We do not store your card details. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable VAT. Receipts are issued by email.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Tuition sessions: Cancel with at least 24 hours notice for a full refund or rescheduled session. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Reader Club: Cancel anytime via your account settings. No refund for the current billing period. Free trial cancellations incur no charge.
Digital products: Non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, unless the product is faulty.
All tutors at Smart Sprout Learning hold a current and valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. Sessions are conducted online via Google Meet. We follow all relevant safeguarding guidance for online educational services. Parents/guardians are encouraged to be in the same room or nearby during sessions.
9. Phonics Screening Practice Tool
The Reading Age Quiz and any phonics screening tools on our website are for educational practice purposes only. They are not official assessments and results should not be used as a formal diagnosis of reading ability. Results are indicative only and we recommend consulting your child's school for formal assessments.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, illustrations, SVG artwork, ebooks, flipbooks, quizzes and exam questions — is the intellectual property of Smart Sprout Learning or is used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
Smart Sprout Learning provides educational support services and digital resources in good faith. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, our liability for any claim arising from use of our services is limited to the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We collect only the data necessary to provide our services. 13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
